Philosophy

　写真撮影というのは、シャッターを切る瞬間、全ては完結しています。最後の画が視えていなければシャッターは切れません。
　銀塩フィルム使用時はもとよりデジタルにおいても、画像処理に頼る必要のない自分自身の写真力、感性、技術の向上のためには、日々自分自身を磨き続ける事が最も重要な課題です。
　被写体の本質を捉え、２次元の写真の中に４次元、５次元の世界観を表現するために、「写った」ではなく、確実に「写す」ことを最大限大切にしたいと考えております。

　With photography, everything is complete the moment I press the shutter. I will not release the shutter button unless I see the final image.
　When using silver halide film, and even in digital, the most important thing to me is to continue to hone my technique every day in order to improve my photographic ability, sensibility, and skill so that I don’t have to rely on image processing.
　In order to seize the true essence of the subject and express an only two-dimensional photograph in a four- or even five-dimensional worldview, I believe it is important to ensure that I “reflect” it, rather than just “capture” it.
